The 2023 season opener at Coastal Plains Raceway Park for the Carolina Class Racers Association was cut short due to rain. Curt Smith Jr. was able to make one qualifying pass in the Deacon Jones Auto Group sponsored Chevrolet Camaro. Due to rain cancelling the event, the CCRA Coastal Plains Raceway Park St. Patrick's Day Extravaganza will be rescheduled for a later date.
